SHINE Humanity Advances Midwifery Training Across Karachi

SHINE Humanity successfully concluded its second training session at Lady Dufferin Hospital & Midwifery, uniting participants from leading midwifery institutes across Karachi. Hosted by Lady Dufferin Hospital, the session reflects SHINE’s ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare training across the city.

In 2024, SHINE trained 273 participants through seven focused workshops. Remarkably, within just the first 1.5 months of this year, from mid-April to May 31, 451 participants have already been trained. These participants represent top institutions, including JSMU Nursing Institute, City Institute of Nursing & Health Sciences, Ziauddin Nursing Institute, Ziauddin University (MBBS), Lady Dufferin Hospital, and others.

Backed by a dedicated team of 53 active trainers and supported by 10–12 recently retired professionals, SHINE Humanity is equipped to expand its efforts even further. Each session reinforces SHINE’s mission to enhance healthcare education and build stronger, more skilled medical communities across Pakistan.
