Fourth Mobile Urgent Care Unit Launched for Rural Sindh
SHINE Humanity, in collaboration with AKD
Group, has launched its fourth Mobile Urgent Care (MUC) unit to provide
essential healthcare services to disaster-affected and underserved communities
in rural Sindh. Inaugurated at the residence of Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Chairman of
AKD Group, the state-of-the-art 20-foot clinic-on-wheels is staffed with
certified doctors, trained medical personnel, essential medicines, and
diagnostic equipment, enabling immediate care in hard-to-reach areas.
The unit will operate across Badin,
Sujawal, and Tharparkar, extending healthcare to populations often deprived of
basic facilities. Faheem Khan, CEO of SHINE Humanity, highlighted that the
initiative brings healthcare beyond cities and paved roads, reflecting the
organisation’s ongoing commitment to improving access and strengthening
community resilience.
