Monsoon rains, particularly in the rural areas of Pakistan have caused widespread damage to agricultural land, infrastructure, and medical facilities, displacing thousands in their wake. This monsoon season, SHINE’s MUC (Mobile Urgent Care clinic) was deployed to Kot Alama village in Sujawal, on the request of the Sindh Government for the communities displaced near the Indus River. 

Having treated nearly 200 patients, the deployment of our MUC’s is essential in limiting the spread of dangerous water-borne diseases and ensuring the continued supply of quality primary care.
