We participated in the 21st annual PEADSCON in Peshawar, Pakistan, where we presented our research titled ‘Gender Distribution and High Prevalence of Anemia Amongst Children in rural Sindh: A Critical Public Health Concern’.
Our research considered Gharo, Thatta in its area of study, and uncovered a staggering 77% prevalence of Anemia in its school-going population.
Presenting our abstract in front of hundreds of child health specialists like Dr. Zulfiqar Bhutta was a true honor, and we are excited to expand on our work, and develop interventions that ensure the provision of quality primary care to all.
