Helping Babies Survive (HBS) Workshop at Sohail Trust Hospital

As part of our ‘Sunehra Lamha’ Initiative, driven by the importance of the first minute of a baby’s life, a workshop was organized in partnership with the Sohail Trust Hospital in Korangi, Karachi. This workshop was led by Project Head, Dr. Usama Memon and his team of Master Trainers from Jinnah Sindh Medical University University (JSMU), who demonstrated the technical skills required to provide neonatal resuscitation, and reduce the risk of neonatal mortality.
Dr. Memon’s demonstration was attended by students, staff, and attendants of the hospital and concluded with a one-on-one dummy practice by the attendees to ensure practical retention of the skills learnt.
