Helping Babies Survive - Ziauddin University

SHINE Humanity has been taking steps to support evidence-based medical practises, particularly with our Sunehra Lamha program. Master trainers from JSMU, in collaboration with SHINE Humanity, conducted a Helping Babies Survive training session at Ziauddin University for their medical students, where they presented and trained them to save lives of newborns in the first minute of their lives. Students were taught resuscitation skills and were evaluated at the end of the session to see if they were able to complete all the steps correctly.

The session was engaging and of vital importance to the students, highlighting the need of practical demonstrations to understand complex procedures. We are grateful to Ziauddin University for their aid in executing this session and look forward to future sessions.
