EPI Inauguration at the SHINE – Garibsons Clinic

According to the World Health Organization, (WHO), vaccinating children under the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) corresponds directly with achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – Good Health and Well-being. In rural communities, the health risks associated with a lack of immunization can lead to poor quality of life, and can even prove to be fatal.

To actively tackle this, SHINE Humanity has launched the Government of Pakistan’s EPI Program at the SHINE – Garibsons Clinic in Gharo. We would like to thank Mr. Nazeer Ahmed Khuwaja (CMO, DHO Thatta), Mr. Mumtaz Ali Halo (EPI Office Thatta), Mr. Mehmood Memon (Coordinator, Zindigi Mehfooz), Mr. Idrees Memon (Focal Person, EPI Center Gharo), and Mr. Shoaib (Vaccinator, EPI Center Gharo) for their attendance at our inauguration, and for partnering with us to ensure EPI’s success in rural Sindh.
