We are proud to share that our research abstract, ‘Exceptionally High Prevalence of Iron Deficiency Anemia in Children Residing in Rural Areas in Pakistan,’ was presented at the British Society for Haematology’s Annual Scientific Meeting in Liverpool, UK.
Health practitioners and delegates from across the world were introduced to SHINE, with many NHS consultants expressing interest in our work. Our research indicated that an alarmingly high rate of anemia is present in children in the rural areas of Pakistan, and by presenting these results on a Global Forum, we are highlighting healthcare problems not commonly known by the public.
We thank our team of doctors and public health specialists for their efforts in showcasing the important work done here at SHINE Humanity. We truly aim to bring notable attention to the lives and health of people living in rural Sindh.
