    Job Summary:

    SHP is seeking an individual who will be required to overlook SHINE Humanity’s programmatic side and assist the team in all matters related to internal and external communications of the organization.     Job Summary:

    SHINE Humanity Pakistan (SHP) is a non-governmental organization which works to provide primary and preventative health care in rural areas of Pakistan.

    SHP is seeking an individual to manage the programmatic side of the organization. The incumbent will be required to do qualitative and quantitative research to launch new programs to impact our beneficiaries. The details are provided below:

    Communications:  

    ·       Assisting in development of a communications strategy to publicize SHINE Humanity’s activities on mainstream media, social media and the organization’s website.

    ·       Assisting with creation of monthly reports and annual reports to be sent to different stakeholders.

    ·       Managing and overseeing content development of SHP’s activities.

    ·       Conduct, transcribe and analyze Focus Group Discussions & Interviews with beneficiaries

     

     

    Marketing

    ·       Assisting with Creating and running promotional campaigns to achieve SHP objectives.

    ·       Assisting with designing and overseeing content development for SHP’s activities.

    ·       Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics and layouts.

     

     

     

    Perform all other duties that fall under the scope and responsibility of an Outreach Manager.

    Required Skills and Qualifications: 

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Social Sciences/ or Marketing (preferred). 
    • 1-2 years of work in social development sector (preferred)
    • Experience in branding and communications
    • Experience of managing social media pages and running online campaigns
    • Intermediate video editing skills

     

     

    Skills:

    Job Responsibilities:

    Program Leadership:

    • Developing strategies for achieving program aims.
    • Plan pragmatic tasks/goals (setting SMART goals and targets for implementation.
    • Track progress against plans
    • Lead and manage program/program team and be responsible for directing, coordination (both internal & external), resource utilization and mobilization, reporting and all activities
    • Work with management, external engagements and operations to develop and meet programmatic plans
    • Carry out research and implement it effectively for the growth of the organization
    • Be adaptable to the needs of the organization and work accordingly
    • Ensure sustainability and scalability of the programs
    • Seek and apply for institutional funding to meet programmatic needs, impact and scale targets

    Organization/ Resource Mobilization

    • Design and implement an engagement strategy with donor/partner organizations to establish support of programs
    • Deliver on targets in a timely fashion and comply with requirements set out with the donor/partner
    • Maintain donor/partner relationships effectively along with identifying channels for programmatic growth and wider/more effective impact

    External Engagement

    In conjunction with associates:

    • Engage with member organizations to benefit programmatic plans
    • Form partnerships and liaise with organizations (donor, government, civil society organizations, and networks) to achieve program aims
    • Work with clients to effectively execute on the committed tasks of projects
    • Represent SHP and the program at external events and forums
    • Manage programs media presence, visibility and communications
    • Keep up to date with research, trends and approaches related to programmatic areas and implement effective and approved well researched ideas/plans
    • Ensure funding for effective interventions from the corporate organizations and crowds

    Financial Management

    In conjunction with Finance Manager:

    • Oversee and manage overall program budget
    • Reporting to donor organization on program updates and utilization of funds
    • Implementation of financial controls where necessary

    Reporting

    • Be responsible for internal reporting and presenting /reporting data externally
    • Develop and manage tools and systems for all activities of the program
    • Ensure documents and data are collected and research is carried out and documented effectively for utilization of information as learnings, case studies, project compilation and monitoring and evaluation etc.

    Perform all other duties that fall under the scope and responsibility of a Program Manager. This includes all other tasks assigned by the Senior Management.

    Job Summary:

    SHINE Humanity Pakistan (SHP) is a non-governmental organization which works to provide primary and preventative health care in rural areas of Pakistan.

     

    SHP is seeking an individual to manage our Finance department. The incumbent will be required to oversee allfinancial and administrative systems that support the programmatic and operational work of the organisation. The individual will be involved in strategic planning and management of the organisation. While the job is based in Karachi, the incumbent will be required to travel to project sites across the country and stay overnight in other cities. The incumbent will also be required to overlook other aspects of the department/organization, if and when required.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    Financial Management

    • Review and approve the preparation of periodic financial reporting materials for SHP’s Executive Committee, management and donor funds.
    • Ensure the implementation of budgets across core operations and projects.
    • Define and establish financial systems to support and streamline reporting requirements.
    • Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial and project-based accounting.
    • Hire and retain support staff, as needed, in the future.
    • Co-ordinate all audit activities.
    • Ensure timely roll-out of annual budgets

    Administration

    • Define and establish systems and procedures to maintain administrative and legal records of the organisation’s work, for legal compliance.
    • Ensure office infrastructure is compliant with accessibility standards
    • Provide support to all staff through mobility, office resourcing, and effective back office

     Coordination

    • Providing oversight for the organization’s day-to-day functions, and ensure staff participation 
    • Serve as the COO’s liaison, with program and operations, in monitoring and facilitating the progress of SHP’s projects and initiatives
    • Ensure timely completion of deliverables set by the management, providing weekly updates to COO
    • Coordinate, document and ensure the recurrence of relevant internal meetings
    • Prioritize and troubleshoot internal organization issues, which are delaying impact, in an effective manner.

    Perform all other duties that fall under the scope and responsibility of a Manager. This includes all other tasks assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree with a major business management or accounts & finance.
    • 4-5 years of work experience in social development sector preferred
    • Knowledge of recruitment.
    • Experience in monitoring & evaluation and field research preferred.
    • Experience in financial management, accounting, legal, budget and audit, preferably in the non-profit sector.
    • Familiarity and comfort with IT systems, including experience in developing and implementing systems that increased efficiency.

    Skills:
